General Cannabis, Inc., a technology-based Internet marketing services company, announced its name change to SearchCore, Inc., effective at the open of trading on Friday, January 6, 2012, to reflect the company’s expansion into new industries outside of medical cannabis.

SearchCore has successfully established a business model that consists of Internet verticals, custom management software and technology focused business services. The company’s common shares commenced trading under its new name and stock ticker symbol “SRER” (OTCQX: SRER), effective January 6th, 2012. The new CUSIP number is 81222V103.
